Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8-10 whole pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini juice
  • 1 ounce ranch seasoning envelope
  • 1 ounce au jus gravy mix envelope
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed

Method
 

  1. Spray the slow cooker insert with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in an even layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Arrange the pepperoncini peppers around the chicken.
  4. Pour the pepperoncini juice directly over the meat.
  5. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and the au jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
  6. Top with the cubed butter.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.
  8. Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker with two forks and toss with the cooking juices before serving.
