Ingredients
Method
- Whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, melted butter, and Dijon mustard in a bowl until smooth.
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Layer the turkey deli slices over the chicken.
- Top the turkey with the Swiss cheese slices.
- Pour the creamy soup mixture evenly over the chicken and cheese layers.
- Sprinkle the dry stuffing mix evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- Serve warm directly from the slow cooker.
Notes
Ensure you use thick-cut Swiss cheese for better texture retention during the long cooking process. If you prefer a crunchier topping, you can lightly toast the stuffing mix in a pan with a little extra butter before adding it to the slow cooker during the final 30 minutes of cooking.
