Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb beef steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 small onion (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup provolone cheese (shredded or sliced)

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat
  2. Add beef and cook until browned on all sides
  3. Add bell peppers and onion; cook 3-4 minutes until tender
  4. Stir in garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika
  5. Add provolone cheese and cover the skillet
  6. Wait 2-3 minutes for cheese to melt
  7. Serve immediately

Notes

Use roasted red peppers for a smoky flavor
Mozzarella or cheddar are excellent cheese substitutions
