No Churn Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups heavy cream - Cold from fridge
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk - Full fat only
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder - Use Dutch-process
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract - Considering 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp salt - Enhances chocolate flavor
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips - Semi or dark preferred

Method
 

  1. Whip heavy cream in chilled bowl until billowy peaks form
  2. Blend condensed milk, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt until smooth
  3. Gently fold whipped cream into chocolate base
  4. Pour mixture into freezer-safe container, cover, and freeze at least 4 hours
  5. Scoop and serve with optional chocolate shavings

Notes

Use frozen bowl/whisk for best results
For best texture, mince chocolate chips before adding
