- Add diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the beef mixture.
- Stir occasionally until vegetables soften (5-7 minutes total).
- Place cheese slices over beef mixture and cover pan to melt.
- Warm rolls in oven or toast in skillet.
- Top with beef, cheese, and tomatoes in rolls.
- Serve immediately with optional mayo-ketchup sauce.
