Ingredients
  

  • Curry Powder, 2 tablespoons
  • Ground Turmeric, 1 teaspoon
  • Brown Sugar, 2 tablespoons
  • Large Onion, 1 minced
  • Garlic, 3 cloves minced
  • Salt, 1 teaspoon
  • Oil, 2 tablespoons
  • Chicken Thighs, 1 pound

Method
 

  1. Place 20-24 bamboo skewers in warm water
  2. Let soak for 30 minutes to prevent burning
  3. Drain skewers and pat dry with paper towels
  4. Combine marinade ingredients in a large bowl
  5. Stir until sugar dissolves completely
  6. Add chicken pieces and toss to coat
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour
  8. Preheat grill to 400-450°F with clean grates
  9. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers
  10. Grill for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through
