Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Extra virgin olive oil (Enough to coat)
  • Kosher salt (To taste)
  • Freshly ground black pepper (To taste)
  • ½ cup halal non-alcoholic BBQ sauce (Use your favorite brand)

Method
 

  1. Preheat grill to 450°F (230°C) and clean the cooking grates.
  2. Drizzle chicken breasts with olive oil and rub evenly over surfaces.
  3. Generously season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place breasts on the hot grill. Cover and cook 5–6 minutes until easily released.
  5. Flip, baste with half the BBQ sauce, and cook 4–5 minutes.
  6. Flip again and cook 2 minutes on each side. Final internal temperature should be 160°F (71°C).
  7. Transfer to a plate, cover with foil, and let rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve with remaining BBQ sauce and optional herbs like cilantro or parsley.

Notes

Use halal-certified chicken and non-alcoholic BBQ sauce to meet dietary restrictions.
Swapped BBQ sauce for honey mustard, teriyaki, or dry rubs as needed.
Optional: Broil in oven at 500°F (260°C) if grilling isn't possible.
Adjust seasoning intensity to taste. Resting period ensures juiciness.
Serve with grilled vegetables, rice, or a crisp salad for balance.
