  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1.4 ounces Italian dressing seasoning (2 packets)
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth

Method

  1. Place the chicken breasts into the bottom of the slow cooker in an even layer.
  2. Sprinkle the Italian dressing seasoning packets uniformly over the chicken.
  3. Add the cream of chicken soup, cubed cream cheese, and chicken broth on top of the chicken.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once the chicken is tender, shred it directly in the slow cooker and stir well to combine with the creamy sauce.

Notes

Ensure chicken is trimmed of fat before adding to the pot. Use low-sodium versions of soup and broth to control salt intake. Serve over buttered pasta, rice, or inside warm rolls for a complete meal.
