Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 32 oz frozen tater tots
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (non-alcoholic vegan alternative)
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper or chili powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add ground turkey and cook 5–7 minutes
  3. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent
  4. Stir in garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and Worcestershire sauce
  5. Mix in cream of mushroom soup and sour cream
  6. Transfer mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish
  7. Top evenly with frozen tater tots
  8. Sprinkle a layer of cheddar cheese over the tater tots
  9. Bake for 35 minutes until golden and bubbly

Substitute ground beef for a heartier flavor
Use leeks or shallots instead of onion for sophistication
Choose dairy-free soup and coconut yogurt for vegan option
