Ingredients

  • 2 cans Crescent Rolls (12-18 triangles)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened (dairy-free or vegan alternative optional)
  • 6 large Eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cup Milk (whole, almond, or coconut milk)
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Colby Jack & Cheddar, or mozzarella/pepper jack for variation)
  • 8 oz Ham (substitute with crumbled tofu, vegetarian sausage, or a halal-friendly alternative)
  • 1 Jalapeño, finely chopped (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Parsley (fresh or freeze-dried)
  • Ground Pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese, eggs, milk, shredded cheese, ham or substitute, jalapeño (if using), parsley, and ground pepper
  4. Add the crescent roll triangles to the bowl and gently toss to coat them in the mixture
  5. Layer the coated triangles into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, slightly overlapping as needed
  6. Bake for 30–40 minutes, or until golden and bubbly
  7. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving

Notes

If using frozen crescent rolls, allow them to thaw slightly before unrolling.
Ensure the ham is halal or non-pork if desired.
For a vegetarian option, use crumbled tofu or a vegan meat substitute in place of ham.
Add any extra veggies or herbs to personalize the casserole.
