Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breasts, pounded to even thickness
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 oz ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup fresh green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for searing

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes per side until a golden crust forms.
  5. Transfer the seared chicken into the prepared baking dish.
  6. In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, and sour cream.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  8. Sprinkle the chopped turkey bacon over the cream cheese layer.
  9. Top with an even layer of shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

Notes

Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a higher protein content. Ensure the chicken is pounded to an even thickness to guarantee consistent cooking times. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
