Ingredients
  

  • sour cream, 4 ½ tbsp
  • light mayonnaise, 4 ½ tbsp
  • apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp
  • apple, 1 (Granny Smith, diced)
  • rotisserie chicken, 2 cups (shredded white meat)
  • dried tarragon, 1 tsp
  • dried dill, 1 tsp
  • salt, 1 tsp
  • sugar, 1 tbsp
  • cheddar cheese, 1 cup (optional)

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, vinegar, sugar, tarragon, and dill until smooth. Chill dressing briefly.
  2. Toss diced apple, celery, and red onion into the bowl.
  3. Fold in shredded chicken and optional cheddar cheese.
  4. Refrigerate 30 minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Spread onto croissants, pita wraps, or serve as a salad.

Notes

Use cold chicken and a sharp knife to dice apple for optimal texture. Cheddar cheese is optional; omit if preferred. Store in an airtight container up to 2 days.
