Method
- Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear salmon and shrimp for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
- Remove seafood and set aside.
- Saute garlic in remaining fat until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and Parmesan to create a sauce, stirring until thickened.
- Return seafood to the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Serve warm.
Notes
Use pre-cooked shrimp if fresh isn't available. Substitute avocado oil for high smoke points. Add cubed potatoes during sauce creation for a heartier meal.
