Ingredients
  

  • Unsalted Butter - 1 stick (85% milkfat preferred)
  • Heavy Cream - 1 cup (or milk + cream cheese for lighter version)
  • Cajun Seasoning - 2 tbsp (mix paprika, cayenne, and dried herbs if making fresh)
  • Kosher Salt - 1 tsp (omit if seasoning is already salted)
  • Parmesan Cheese - 1 cup (freshly grated for smooth melt)
  • Lemon Zest - 1 tsp (avoid juice as per recipe)

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over low heat until frothy
  2. Whisk in heavy cream and Cajun seasoning; simmer gently for 5-6 minutes
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in lemon zest
  4. Gradually fold in Parmesan cheese until sauce is glossy and fully melted

Notes
