Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 teaspoons blackened seasoning (paprika, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, cayenne, salt, pepper)
  • 2 romaine hearts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shaved Parmesan
  • 1 cup croutons
  • Olive oil
  • Caesar dressing
  • Lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Pat dry shrimp and toss with olive oil and blackened seasoning.
  2. Heat skillet over medium-high, cook shrimp 2–3 mins per side until charred.
  3. In a bowl, combine romaine, Parmesan, croutons, Caesar dressing, and lemon juice; toss gently.
  4. Top salad with warm shrimp and additional Parmesan.

Notes

Use cast-iron skillet for better char
Adjust spices for heat preference
Dress salad before adding shrimp to prevent wilting
Let shrimp rest 1–2 mins post-cooking to maximize juiciness
Substitute Parmesan with gluten-free nutritional yeast
Use panko as crouton alternative
