Blackened Shrimp Caesar Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 large romaine hearts
  • ½ cup Caesar dressing
  • Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Croutons, toasted

Method
 

  1. Pat shrimp dry, add olive oil and spices, toss
  2. Cook in hot skillet 2-3 minutes per side until pink and charred
  3. Combine romaine, Parmesan, and croutons in bowl
  4. Drizzle with Caesar dressing and toss gently
  5. Add warm shrimp on top, finish with more Parmesan and fresh pepper

Notes

Substitute thyme for oregano if preferred
Use baby romaine for easier prep
Caesar dressing can be homemade (link provided)
Cook shrimp in batches if needed to prevent overcrowding
