Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
- Prepare three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with the beaten egg mixed with 2 tablespoons of buffalo sauce, and one with panko mixed with half of the spices.
- Coat the chicken pieces in flour, shaking off excess.
- Dip the floured chicken into the egg mixture until fully coated.
- Press the chicken firmly into the panko mixture to ensure a thick crust.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
- Air fry for 16 minutes, turning the pieces halfway through for even crisping.
- While the chicken cooks, whisk together the remaining 1 cup of buffalo sauce and the melted butter.
- Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a large bowl, drizzle with the buffalo-butter glaze, and toss gently to coat.
Notes
For extra crunch, spray the coated chicken lightly with cooking spray before placing in the air fryer. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer to maintain crispiness.
